Inspired lyrics. Powerhouse vocals. Unforgettable melodies.

Fresh from the indie scene of Nashville, Tennessee, pop/rock singer-songwriter Kristen Bennett offers a new outlook on honest, satisfying music. With a smooth, relaxed vocal similar to the likes of Colbie Callait, Adele, and Nina Simone, Bennett turns to her roots in jazz music to exemplify genres of pop, rock, and folk.

In 2012 Bennett released a self-titled EP, “Kristen Bennett” following several years of touring, writing, and creating. A native of the Midwest, she became a familiar face among the Ohio River Valley, appearing at Camp Electric, The Underground, and working alongside independent filmmakers to cultivate a soundtrack for Titans of PS-271. In 2013 she recorded in the infamous Gaither’s studio, a space treasured by many gospel legends such as Sandi Patti, Bill Gaither, and Michael English.

Recently, Bennett has agreed to record a song for an artist compilation album produced by Jon McLaughlin. McLaughlin, a pop-rock singer/songwriter, pianist and producer, has toured with artists Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, and has written material for Jason Mraz and Demi Lovato. His music has appeared in films Georgia Rule, Bridge to Terabithia, and Enchanted. The theme of the compilation album is “coming back home” and will also feature artists Jon Louis and Jansen Hogan. Bennett’s song on the album will be titled, “Wander On.”
