How many times have you stared at your calendar, newsfeed, or list of things to complete and silently told yourself:
Today is the day.
You’ve had to at least do it once.
In my case, this revelation happens just about every other week. Fresh beginnings might as well be my middle name. Every Monday I get this odd inclination to try something new: the 30 Day Yoga Challenge, committing to write a song a day, planning new recipes to try for the week, etc.
I used to believe this was a weakness.
That I wasn’t going to get anything done, and simply make an excuse by starting anew every week.
However, I don’t believe this is a weakness anymore.
There should be a balance.
Days for starting over and days for giving up.
Days for rest and days for getting things done.
Every day is a fresh beginning.
